English at Work learners designed a simulated stand-up ritual: progress updates, blockers, and clear requests for help in English.
Problem
Working adults often understand English but lack short patterns for reporting and responding in fast meetings.
Approach
The group built role-based phrase banks, rotated practice rounds, and revised after teacher feedback.
Outcomes
- A bank of 40 update / Q&A workplace phrases
- Each learner facilitated a 5-minute stand-up
- A self-check list for clarity and confidence
